I respect @ryancarson & the work being produced by @carsonified and to be honest I don’t want to get into the whole “UX Professional is a bullshit job title” [tweet] [post] shit storm which is going on at the moment.

One thing I do take issue with is Ryan’s immediate leap to “experience trumps all” as that is complete bullshit. You are only as good as your last project, nothing more. And as for the “budgets of up to multiple £Ms” [tweet], can we all give Ryan a big whoop-de-do? A big budget does not mean a better project. Have we forgotten the £2.8 Million disaster that is Birmingham Council’s site? [xss] [post]

Ryan needs to come up with a better argument than “because I say so”, I don’t care how long he has been within the industry.

My arguments in this post are 100% correct as I’ve been insulting, lambasting and criticising people and companies for almost my entire life, with budgets of up to sweet fuck all
